Since I did a post on using tarot for spiritual and mental self-care, I thought about doing a post on the physical side too.
Back in the days, I hated exercising with a passion. But when ClassPass launched in Singapore in August 2018, I started trying out group exercise classes and I loved it. (I think it could also be the New Moon in Virgo in September which landed in my 6th house of health too.)
I like that in group classes, there are other people around so I’m not the focus of attention (unlike personal training) and there’s a pro teaching how to do the exercises (unlike training on my own).
ClassPass for exercise classes
ClassPass has become more expensive compared to when I first signed up. But if you use my ClassPass affiliate link to join, you get $40 off your first month.
I like sound and yin yoga classes the best to calm my mind.
My favourite ClassPass Studios
Yoga in Common
I used to think the studio is out of the way at Farrer Park. But now that I’m used to it, it’s a tolerable journey especially with the positive effects after class.
I like yin and restorative classes here. Depending on instructors, they might also Gong class which I adore!

House of Ascend
Peaceful and beautiful studio near Tiong Bahru MRT though the entrance is a bit hard to find.
I like the Gong Yin class here where you relax into yin yoga poses while the Gong is played.
Classes get booked up fast here.
One Farrer Hotel & Spa – Fitness
I love soaking in hot water and One Farrer Hotel & Spa – Fitness has onsen pools. I didn’t really feel any effects of onsen minerals but taking a plunge in hot water is enough for me.
Fairmont Fitness & Willow Stream Spa – Fitness
My favourite spa facilities! I’m so happy to see this place on Classpass because it’s my favourite place. It has great hot pools to soak away all the tiredness.

Price: From $59 for about 5 to 7 classes a month and $99 for 7 to 9 classes. Sign up using my ClassPass affiliate link for $ off your first month.
KFIT for group exercise classes and gyms
Similar to ClassPass, KFIT has group exercises classes. But I like it more for the niche health and self-care activities you can book. Get $20 off with my KFIT affiliate link.
KFIT’s Fitness Pass gives you 10 classes though some places limit how many times you can visit.
Ganbanyoku Hot Stone Therapy @ Anti Oxidant Wellness (3 visits)
I imagine that I’m teppanyaki while I lie on hot stone beds for 45 minutes. I sweat a lot from it and I do think that it helps me feel lighter. It’s said that there are Fra Infrared Rays and Negative Ions released from the hot stone bed.
Willow Stream Fitness and Wellness (Gym & Spa Access) (1 visit)
I love this place so much I bought a KFIT package during my birthday month just so I could use the private pools at the Spa. It has a jacuzzi and other smaller pools to soak off tiredness.
Hotel Jen Tanglin (Gym Access) (3 visits)
The ladies spa area has one big jacuzzi that feels like a boiling pot of water. It can get uncomfortable but if you press the whirlpool function, it gets a bit cooler (compared to boiling hot).
Price: S$129 for Fitness Pass of 10 classes. (Cheaper than ClassPass if you’re able to use up all the classes.) Get $20 off with my KFIT affiliate link.
