You just started learning tarot and now everyone and their puppies want a reading from you.
But before you give them the reading, should you let other people touch your tarot cards?
Or you might ask, “If the client doesn’t touch the cards? Can it still be accurate?
My experience letting others touch my deck
When I first started reading tarot, I only had one deck so I didn’t really want other people to touch my deck.
Not because there’s anything wrong with that but I just don’t want people touching them.
Now even when I have too many decks, I still prefer not letting people shuffle my decks.
Not because it’ll affect the energy of my cards.
But because (whisper) people are terrible at shuffling and the cards just fly everywhere
My rule of them is that if it’s a free reading for a friend, I prefer shuffling on my own and letting them pick the cards.
But if it’s one of my (relatively rare) live paid session, I usually let paying clients who are eager to shuffle the cards to do so because I see this as part of the experience.
What About Other People 'Contaminating' Your Decks
Some people might say DONT LET OTHER PEOPLE TOUCH YOUR CARDS because it’ll transfer their energy to your cards.
I don’t really believe that other people can energetically contaminate your cards.
But I know of people who have had such experiences, eventually they gave their deck away
If A Client Doesn't Touch The Deck,
Is It Still Accurate?
I hear some of you shout "IS THE READING STILL ACCURATE IF THE CLIENT DOESN’T TOUCH THE CARDS?"
It's likely the client who will ask this.
Yes, it still works.
In fact, 99% of my tarot readings for my clients are done virtually so clients don't even see my cards.
