When I tell people I do tarot readings, the most common reaction is a look of fear on their face.
They whisper, “Isn’t it evil?” while I continue smiling in the most non-witchy way.
The truth is, tarot cards are just pieces of paper with fixed drawings on them. Like flash cards for kids, but instead of pictures of A for Apple, it’s a skeleton with a scythe.
I’m kidding.
Even the “scariest” cards such as The Devil and Death have positive meanings behind them.
For example, The Devil signifies addiction or temptation. So if it appears, you have to take a look at your life and see which areas you are addicted to and need help with.
